What is PTA?
A parent-teacher association (PTA) or parent-teacher-student association (PTSA) is a formal organization composed of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to help the school raise funds for different activities and ALL needs of the school that BENEFIT ALL STUDENTS.
YOU CAN HELP YOUR STUDENT(S) AND SCHOOL BY JOINING THE PTA.
How To Be A Member?
Parents, please come to the main office to let us know you're interested. The Wilshire Park PTA meets in the Parent Center (2nd Floor) every morning.
Simply fill out the MEMBERSHIP FORM -PAY YEARLY MEMBERSHIP DUES OF $10.00.
Make sure you put YOUR STUDENT’S NAME AND ROOM NUMBER on the attached form.
Return with a check or cash for $10.00 made payable to Wilshire Park Elementary PTA.
Come to the MONTHLY MEETINGS and find out what is going on and how you can SUPPORT YOUR STUDENT(S) and WILSHIRE PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
SIGN UP FOR A COMMITTEE! Even if you don’t have a lot of extra time to spare, any time you can be of service will be greatly appreciated!
ANYONE can attend the Monthly PTA MEETINGS...you do not have to be a member...COME AND FIND OUT ABOUT THE PTA AND WHAT WE DO FOR WILSHIRE PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND THE STUDENTS!!!
MOST Important OF ALL.....GET INVOLVED WITH THE SCHOOL...
